The Architectural Modeling Laboratory is located in the
room 214 and 215 of Yingxue Building, with the total area of around 90
square meters. The laboratory belongs to the Teaching Experiment Centre of the
School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and serves as teaching aids of
the professional courses of architecture major
AML has a variety
of instruments and equipments which worth about 300,000 RMB. The main
equipments include carved machine, foam cutting machine, universal garland saw,
lightweight desktop turning bed, curvilinear saw, table saw, etc., as well as
all kinds of cutters, which can satisfy the requirements of teaching and
scientific research.
There are several
professional teachers and one laboratory assistant in AML, who undertake the professional
courses of architecture major, such as basis design of architecture, public
building design, principles and design of urban planning, graduation project
and building model,as well as the teaching and research tasks for
postgraduates. AML is a standardized open lab.
