Victoria University of Wellington Day (the Day) was opening at Xiamen University during 29th-30th, March. Prof. Blair McRae, assistant Vice-Chancellor (International Engagement), Victoria University of Wellington, lead a delegation to attend the Day to discuss the future cooperation between the two universities. Our two universities established friendly and cooperative relations in 1987 and began to exchange in 2006. Since then, the two universities have launched practical cooperation at multiple levels, including faculty and student exchanges, scientific research collaboration, and mutual leader visits. Prof. Shaosen Wang, Dean of School of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SACE), participated in the opening ceremony of the Day in the morning of 30th. In the same day, Prof. Marc Aurel Schnabel, Dean of Faculty of Architecture & Design, Victoria University of Wellington, gave a lecture about Architecture Design Inclusion to both staves and students of SACE in the afternoon. After the lecture, Prof. Schnabel and staves of SACE discussed and negotiated the Provision of Postgraduate Dual Degree Programmes in Architecture. SACE is expected to sign the Postgraduate Dual Degree Programmes Agreement with Faculty of Architecture & Design in this year.
